I will dominate 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
