Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his desire in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is presently halfway through the four-year deal he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.
The experienced forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the initial significant honor of his distinguished career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier expressed that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he previously was, and would definitely think about lengthening his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
